Woah what a a little surprise !! We recently moved into the neighborhood behind them decided to try them from brunch yesterday .
Everything was phenomenal. From the service ( thank you Mel!!!) to the food . Woah .
Boyfriend ordered his normal biscuits and gravy .
    - he and i both agree ITS THE BEST WE'VE EVER HAD.
    - the gravy and sausage is on point !!
I ordered the Cali omelette and asked to add onions and bacon as well as a side salad at 9am ( yes I'm that one )
The champagne Vinaigrette was awesome .

Before our meal came out our waitress brought over and introduced this " blueberry coulee " to go on my toast .
She described it perfectly as in not to sweet not to tart .
It paired excellent with the toast i received with my omelette.

I have to be honest, when i looked at their prices before i thought they were a little on the pricey side but after this first visit.. i can't wait to try them for lunch and dinner and happy hour  .
The only thing i could add is i wish they offered a salsa - but they don't have one . They do have Chalula hot sauce which i paired with my omelette.
So happy they are right outside my neighborhood .

Had the pleasure of trying out National Treasure last night! Overall, super delicious! I definitely want to go back to try their lunch and brunch menu!!

Appetizers: crispy Brussel sprouts and their truffle fries. A tad salty but I mean come on, it's fries with truffle salt and Parmesan so I can't complain! Lol I'm a sucker for brussel sprouts so if I see it on any menu, I'm getting them.

Drinks: we tried four of their martinis and they were fruity and delicious! My favorite was the watermelon martini.

Entree: my mom had their salmon with roasted asparagus and crispy potatoes. Salmon was covered in a boooozy beurre blanc - awesome. Haha
I had their Georgia peach chicken and I was blown away. It's served with crispy sweet potatoes and green beans. The sauce? DUDE. it's a peace butter sauce and I loved it. I'm not even the biggest peach fan (well, the artificial peach flavor) but the chunks of fresh peaches in this sauce adds just the right sweetness.

Overall, loved it and can't wait to go back!

We tried National Treasure last night and we were not disappointed.    We were greeted right away with a smile and seated.   The restaurant was clean and the decor them was honoring the American men & women in the military.  Ms. Mel was our server and she was extremely attentive to not just us, but every single one of her tables.   The restaurant was packed!

We shared the "European Traveler" as an appetizer.    It was fried decadently topped with cheese, onions, and tons of bacon.    My husband ordered the "Southern Fried Steak".  It was delicious!   It was huge and the crust was perfect.   He chose asparagus and mashed potatoes - yummy.  His plate was completely clean by the time he was done eating.

I ordered the "Shrimp Scampi with Pasta".   There was a ton of shrimp and you can tell it was fresh.   The sauce was tasty, very robust.    I ate everything on my plate, too.  Yes, we overloaded on carbs, but we enjoyed every bit of it!   No regrets!

If you haven't tried National Treasure, you should put it on your list.   It's a hidden gem in the suburbs of Cypress.  I was also amazed at the reasonable prices!   Go early, or make reservations, it can get crowded, especially when they have live music.

These guys have a great happy hour with half price appetizers and super cheap beers. I don't understand why they weren't busier on a Friday afternoon.

The buffalo sweet potato appetizer is absolutely one of the best things I've ever eaten. I know it sounds kind of weird but the flavors work really well. They take cubes of roasted sweet potatoes, toss them in a spicy buffalo sauce and sprinkle them with crumbled blue cheese. Served in a basket with carrots and celery and blue cheese and ranch dressing, these are just plain awesome. It makes me happy when I eat them.

We've had a few other dishes here. The pizza wasn't the best I've had as the crust was too thin but not crispy and became soggy with too much sauce. The brunch items we've eaten here were good though and they had some nice live music for Sunday brunch.

But really, happy hour here is well worth the visit.
